Characteristics and main uses
CuZn42 PNA380 is a brass alloy with approximately 42% zinc, offering good mechanical properties.
This brass is a two-phase alloy with around 50% hard and brittle beta phase, which enables chips to be broken during machining.
This alloy is a good alternative to leaded brass.
CuZn42 PNA380 has a very low lead content, making the alloy suitable for jewelry applications under REACH standards.
