Characteristics and main uses

Le CuZn42 PNA380 est un alliage de laiton avec environ 42% de zinc qui offre de bonnes propriétés mécanique.
Ce laiton est un alliage biphasé avec environ 50% de phase bêta dure et fragile qui permet la rupture des copeaux pendant l'usinage. 
Cet alliage est une bonne alternative au laiton au plomb. 

Le CuZn42 PNA380 a une très faible teneur en plomb, ce qui rend l'alliage adapté aux applications de bijouterie selon les normes REACH.
